Resolve Nasolabial Folds and Sagging Jawline with Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift)!

Resolve Nasolabial Folds and Sagging Jawline with

Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift)!

Aging is a natural process, but everyone occasionally worries about wrinkles and sagging facial lines when looking in the mirror. Particularly, issues like nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and sagging jawlines become more pronounced over time, altering the overall facial impression and making one look much older, which can be stressful. There are various ways to address these issues, but recently, "Butterfly Facelift" which enhances lifting effects by elevating the butterfly zone, has been gaining attention.

Mini Lift(Butterfly Facelift) is a procedure that lifts the butterfly zone of the face to resolve concerns about sagging skin, and it is referred to as "Mini Lifting" at our clinic.

The butterfly zone is named because it resembles a butterfly shape when connecting the eye area, cheekbones, and both cheeks, referring to the area just above the nasolabial folds.

The skin in this facial area inevitably sags downward due to gravity as one ages. Unlike traditional incision lifting, Mini Lift(Butterfly Facelift)  uses minimal incisions to achieve quick and easy lifting effects.

By lifting the butterfly zone, it can improve concerns such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and sagging jawline.

For those who have tried various treatments like Botox, fillers, laser lifting, and thread lifting with minimal results and are considering a facelift for more definite lifting effects, Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift) can be a great choice.

Mini Lift(Butterfly Facelift)  that elevates the butterfly zone has several advantages over a facelift.

First, minimal incisions within the scalp leave almost no scars.

Second, the minimal incisions result in a shorter recovery period.

Third, it provides effects similar to a facelift.

Mini Lift(Butterfly Facelift) Surgery Process

The general process of Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift) involves making a small 1-2cm incision within the temporal scalp and performing a wide dissection under the SMAS layer from the front cheek to below the ear, lifting and securing the skin upward.

During this process, the stretched and sagging skin is excised and removed, then sutured. This procedure improves the downward sagging of the face through vertical pulling forces.

Two vertical pulling vectors target the nasolabial folds and marionette lines, stretching them out. This vertical pulling force smoothens wrinkles and enhances facial contours.

Additionally, since a wide area is dissected and the SMAS layer is fixed with sutures, the final exposed incision area is only about 2cm in the temporal region, which can be hidden by hair, making the scar hard to see.

Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift) may have slightly less effect than a facelift, but when performed on suitable patients, it can achieve similar levels of results.

In particular, if wrinkles and sagging are in the early stages, Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift) alone can provide sufficient improvement.

Therefore, for those who find a facelift burdensome, Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift) can be an excellent alternative.

Post-Surgery Care

Post-surgery care for Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift) is also simple. The small incision allows immediate post-surgery makeup, and although sutures require caution, they do not significantly hinder daily activities.

Swelling is minimal, allowing outdoor activities 1-2 days post-surgery. Of course, recovery speed may vary among individuals. However, Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift), which lifts the butterfly zone, is a procedure that addresses these issues with minimal scarring and quick recovery.

By addressing nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and sagging jawlines early, Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift) allows you to live worry-free about wrinkles for at least 3-5 years. Without worrying about scars and with quick recovery, Mini Lift (Butterfly Facelift) is a wise choice to alleviate aging concerns.

However, if the face is significantly sagging or the skin is severely lax, a facelift may be more suitable, so it is advisable to choose the appropriate lifting method through consultation with medical professionals.

Everything You Need to Know Before Getting a Nose Job in Korea [Jayjun Plastic Surgery Q&A]

Everything You Need to Know Before Getting a Nose Job in Korea [Jayjun Plastic Surgery Q&A] Today, we have compiled clear answers from a Jayjun Plastic Surgery specialist in Korea to frequently asked questions by patients who are considering rhinoplasty.  Please note that surgical methods and outcomes may vary depending on the individual, so use this information as a general guide. Q1. Can the nasal tip be raised and improved naturally using only septal cartilage? Yes, it can be possible, although it depends on individual conditions. In the past, surgeries were done using only septal cartilage, and even now, if the conditions allow, natural and sophisticated results can be achieved with septal cartilage alone. However, if the nose is very small or upturned (short nose), cartilage alone may not provide enough support, so a stronger structure is needed to fix the tip. In such cases, rib cartilage (autologous or donated) may be used. In principle, if there are no major nasal issue...
