If You Want a Youthful Face,
Consider the Effects of a Full Face Lift!

As we age, our skin loses elasticity and sags, and our facial muscles also loosen. The fat beneath the skin also sags, making us look older than we actually are.

There is a growing trend of interest in maintaining a youthful appearance, and many are concerned about looking older due to decreased skin elasticity and wrinkles.

Therefore, there has been an increased interest in Full facelift surgeries that can tighten sagging skin and achieve a more youthful effect.

👉What is a Full FaceLift?

A facelift is one of the most common surgical methods that helps reverse the effects of time and improve various aesthetic issues on the face. It significantly reduces deep wrinkles, sagging, and other signs of aging by tightening the facial muscles and smoothing the skin. Additionally, by removing excessive facial fat and tightening the skin, it can naturally enhance the face to look more youthful.

The Causes of Skin Sagging and Deep Wrinkles!

Normally, our skin is composed of layers: skin, subcutaneous fat, and muscles.  However, the facial skin has an additional thin layer called the SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System) between the subcutaneous fat and muscle layers.

The SMAS(Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System) layer, easily referred to as the fascial layer, is a thin membrane attached directly above the muscles. This SMAS layer helps us make various facial expressions by connecting to the facial muscles.

It is susceptible to gravity, causing it to sag over time.

The fundamental reason for skin sagging and the formation of wrinkles over time can be attributed to the SMAS layer. Therefore, there are limitations to improving sagging and deepened wrinkles through lifting that only tightens the skin.

To achieve the desired lifting effect, it is necessary to surgically separate and tighten this SMAS layer, addressing the fundamental cause of skin sagging and wrinkling, to effectively achieve a youthful appearance.

👉Full Face Lift Procedure!

Incisions are made in front and behind the ears, followed by the detachment of a portion of the skin and the separation of retaining ligaments within the sagging skin due to aging. After that, the thin fibromuscular layer covering the face, known as the SMAS layer, is cut and shortened or lifted and fixed in place.

During this process, it's not just about lifting the skin; each soft tissue layer centered around the SMAS is dissected, the retaining ligaments are cut appropriately, and then pulled tautly upwards. This ensures significant changes not only in deep wrinkles but also in the overall contours of the face, leading to satisfying results.

As previously mentioned, this technique involves resection in the facial area and directly lifting and fixing the deep layers of the skin. Since each individual's skin condition varies in terms of elasticity and thickness, personalized skin care methods are required. Furthermore, the extent and method of dissecting and pulling the SMAS layer can lead to varying results.

This requires the technique of medical professionals who are knowledgeable and experienced in the aging process and anatomy of the face.  At times, care by inexperienced medical personnel may not achieve the expected results. Additionally, overly aggressive procedures can make the face appear unnatural, or conversely, insufficient procedures may not produce the desired changes.

Therefore, it is necessary to avoid rushing into a Full Face Lift just because you are concerned about sagging skin and wrinkles.  Instead, it is a good solution to have a thorough consultation and diagnosis with experienced medical professionals and choose a method that suits your current skin condition for satisfying results.

Everything You Need to Know Before Getting a Nose Job in Korea [Jayjun Plastic Surgery Q&A]

Everything You Need to Know Before Getting a Nose Job in Korea [Jayjun Plastic Surgery Q&A] Today, we have compiled clear answers from a Jayjun Plastic Surgery specialist in Korea to frequently asked questions by patients who are considering rhinoplasty.  Please note that surgical methods and outcomes may vary depending on the individual, so use this information as a general guide. Q1. Can the nasal tip be raised and improved naturally using only septal cartilage? Yes, it can be possible, although it depends on individual conditions. In the past, surgeries were done using only septal cartilage, and even now, if the conditions allow, natural and sophisticated results can be achieved with septal cartilage alone. However, if the nose is very small or upturned (short nose), cartilage alone may not provide enough support, so a stronger structure is needed to fix the tip. In such cases, rib cartilage (autologous or donated) may be used. In principle, if there are no major nasal issue...
