About the importance of survival rate of hair transplant

About the importance of survival rate of hair transplant

Recently, more and more people regardless of gender are interested in hair transplant and finding information about it. As news of celebrities doing hair transplant has been gaining attention for a few days, people are more curious about hair transplant, and the inquiries about the cost of hair transplant that our hospital has received are increasing.

Usually, the basic standard of hair being transplanted is 3000 hair (1500 bags), and using this standing, for cases using incisional method, the cost is about 3.6 million won to 6 million, and for cases using non-incisional method to cut the hair, the cost will increase depending on the length of the hair. Also, the cost can be different for men and women. However, many people are curious about the reason why there is a difference in the cost of hair transplant. In this post, we will tell you in detail about the cost difference in hair transplant that happen between different hospitals and the importance of survival rate in hair transplant.

➤Why is the cost of hair transplant different depending on hospitals?

There are two main reasons why hair transplantation costs vary from person to person, which are the differences in the method being used in the surgery and the number of hairs to be transplanted. Firstly, depending on the surgical mean, the operation time is different, and the difficulty of the surgery is different, so there will be a difference in the transplant cost too. In other words, the cost can be different depending on whether incisional method is being used or non-incisional method is being used. The second reason is because the number of hairs needs to be transplanted is different for every people. Depending on the proportion of the face, the needs of the patients and the aesthetic sense of the surgeon who perform the surgery, the hair line of the forehead can be designed in a very low position, and it can also be designed in a slightly low position. At this time, as the difference in design is related to the difference in number of hairs being transplanted, there will be a difference in cost. In other words, if the line is very low, we cannot help but to transplant a lot of hair.

As such, the design and number of hairs being transplanted of different surgical means, as well as the density of the transplant are slightly different for each hospital that performs hair transplant. Therefore, the cost of hair transplantation varies slightly.

➤Is there any difference between men hair transplant and women hair transplant?

There is a difference between male and female hair transplants. As compared with women, the probability for men to have hair loss is relatively higher, the surgery plan needs to be made after considering the possibility of hair loss. In general, for women hair transplant, the purpose of the surgery is about cosmetic aspect in most of the cases, but for men hair transplant, the cost can be different depending on whether the design in for dealing with hair loss or it is just for cosmetic aspect.

Usually, for men hair transplant, many of the men whose forehead line is a M-shape and the forehead look wide, men who lost hair from the crown of the head in a round shape, making the crown of the head so empty like a O-shape, or men whose forehead line collapse and the middle part looks wider like a C-shape do hair transplant. Also, cases in which the hair line and the hair around the crown of the head fall complexly in a U-shape happen a lot, it is important to make an appropriate design that fits your own face shape and balance after considering these characteristics.

➤Why is the survival rate of hair transplant important?

In general, for both men and women hair transplant, the hair transplant is done by the same method, in which hairs are collected from the back of the head and then being transplanted to the necessary areas. After incising the scalp of the back of the head and collecting the necessary amount of hairs, experienced and skillful surgery team will minimize the damage while undergoing a separation process of hair follicles safely and do the transplant. At this time, the important point is that we should consider things like the thickness and the angel of the hair and the depth, and rearrange the hair accurately through a hair transplant with density. By doing so, we can collect the hair with nearly no damage and do a hair transplant with density, which can increase the survival rate. Only when the survival rate is being increased like this, we can have a natural and long-lasting rich hair as a result through a delicate hair rearrangement.

However, it is also important to know that in order to help the hair grow healthily, proper spacing is needed. As mentioned earlier, although the survival rate is important, if you are too greedy and transplant too much hair, your hair will not grow well, and you may have to do a reoperation.

In addition, it is desirable for you to check if the system of the hospital carefully like if the doctor can provide 1:1 personal customized care from the consultation, surgery, to the progress check, and if the preparation for the post-surgery engraftment is well done. After that, you should have consultation with medical team with extensive know-how. I think that it will be good if you can find a place that can help plan a surgery plan which you like.

Everything You Need to Know Before Getting a Nose Job in Korea [Jayjun Plastic Surgery Q&A]

Everything You Need to Know Before Getting a Nose Job in Korea [Jayjun Plastic Surgery Q&A] Today, we have compiled clear answers from a Jayjun Plastic Surgery specialist in Korea to frequently asked questions by patients who are considering rhinoplasty.  Please note that surgical methods and outcomes may vary depending on the individual, so use this information as a general guide. Q1. Can the nasal tip be raised and improved naturally using only septal cartilage? Yes, it can be possible, although it depends on individual conditions. In the past, surgeries were done using only septal cartilage, and even now, if the conditions allow, natural and sophisticated results can be achieved with septal cartilage alone. However, if the nose is very small or upturned (short nose), cartilage alone may not provide enough support, so a stronger structure is needed to fix the tip. In such cases, rib cartilage (autologous or donated) may be used. In principle, if there are no major nasal issue...
